Amazon has expanded its free Amazon Music tier to more devices. Amazon Music was previously only available for free to customers using Echo devices. However, the ad-supported Amazon Music tier is now also available on the web, Android, iOS, and Fire TV.

How to Listen to Amazon Music for Free

Amazon announced the expansion of its free Amazon Music tier in a post on The Amazon Blog. The ad-supported tier is available on the Amazon Music app for Android, iOS, and Fire TV. And you can also listen on the web at music.amazon.com.

The company explains that “Amazon Music customers who do not yet have a Prime membership, or a subscription to Amazon Music Unlimited, can now listen to an ad-supported selection of top playlists and thousands of stations for free.”

As you may have noticed, this isn’t the full Amazon Music catalog. Instead, the free tier lets you “play thousands of stations based on any song, artist, era, and genre,” as well as the “top global playlists” and “the best in Holiday tunes”.

Playlists available for free (with ads) include All Hits (featuring the biggest songs in the world, Fuego Latino (featuring the week’s hottest Latin tracks), Country Heat (full of country music hits), and Rap Rotation (full of big hip-hop tracks).
